Electrical repairs and service calls in Lebanon, TN
Something quit working? We find the cause of outages, dead outlets, and breakers that keep tripping, then we fix it. Call the office at (615) 812-7334 and talk to someone local.
What we get called about
Most electrical problems are a symptom of something else. A breaker that keeps tripping is doing its job. Our work is finding out why.
- Breakers that trip over and over
- Dead outlets or a whole room with no power
- Partial outages where half the house works
- Flickering or dimming lights
- Burning smells, warm outlets, or scorch marks around a plug
- Buzzing panels, switches, or fixtures
- GFCI outlets that will not reset
- Loose or damaged outlets and switches
- Storm damage, weather head repairs, and damaged service lines
- Bad connections in old junction boxes
- Failed fixtures, fans, and bath vents
- Code corrections found during a home inspection
Safety note. If you smell burning, see smoke, or feel heat coming off a panel or outlet, shut the power off at the main if you can do it safely and call the fire department first. Then call us.
We fix the cause
Replacing a breaker that keeps tripping does not help if the reason it trips is a shorted wire behind a wall or a circuit carrying more load than it was built for.
We test, isolate the circuit, and track the fault to its source. Then we explain what we found in plain words and tell you what it takes to fix it. You get the price before we do the repair.
Twenty plus years of service work in Middle Tennessee means we have seen most of it before.

Common questions
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Three common reasons. The circuit is overloaded, there is a short between wires, or there is a ground fault. A breaker that trips over and over is warning you about a real problem, so it is worth having someone look at it.
Half my house lost power but the breakers look fine. What is that?
That often points to a lost leg coming into the house, a failed main breaker, or a loose neutral. It can also come from the utility side. It is not a do it yourself repair, so call us and we will find out where the break is.
Do you offer emergency or after hours service?
Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call (615) 812-7334 and tell us what is going on. We will let you know how soon we can get to you.
Why do my lights flicker when the AC comes on?
A small dip when a large motor starts can be normal. Flickering that is constant, spreads across the house, or comes with buzzing is different. That can mean a loose connection at the panel or the service, and it should be checked.
My outlet stopped working. Is that an easy fix?
Sometimes. A tripped GFCI upstream is a five minute fix. A burned connection inside a box or a broken wire in the wall takes longer. We find out which one it is before quoting the repair.
Do you repair storm and weather damage?
Yes. We repair damaged weather heads, masts, meter bases, and service entrance wiring, and we coordinate with the utility when the pole side is involved.
